Veterinary Technician

Key Responsibilities: Prepare animals and surgical instruments for procedures Perform dental cleanings, including extractions when needed Administer medications, vaccines, and prescribed treatments Provide emergency first aid and general nursing care Collect and accurately record patient histories and clinical information Educate clients on post-treatment care and at-home protocols Safely restrain animals for exams and procedures Dispense medications and clearly explain usage to clients Perform venipuncture and place intravenous catheters Induce, intubate, and monitor patients under anesthesia Administer oral, IV, IM, and subcutaneous therapies Triage urgent and critical care cases Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 12 years of veterinary technician experience (licensed or unlicensed) Strong multitasking abilities and calm under pressure Experience with anesthesia, dental procedures, and emergency care Familiarity with veterinary software and medical documentation Required Skills: Emergency Nursing First Aid Communication Skills Pressure Documentation Software Time Management Leadership Communication Management #J-18808-Ljbffr Vetcelerator
