Depot Technician 2

Depot Technician II role focused on repairing analytical instrumentation and scientific equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing failures, replacing components, testing repairs, and maintaining service documentation while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

Clean, inspect, and document pre-repair condition of equipment
Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting using validated diagnostic techniques
Replace non-conforming parts and conduct preventive maintenance as needed
Test, calibrate, and document completed repairs with comprehensive service data
Manage record-keeping for Return Authorizations, Service Quotes, and Service Orders

Requirements

2-year technical college degree or equivalent service work experience
2+ years fast-paced service and/or customer support environment experience
Ability to use tools, multimeters, and follow technical work instructions
Basic knowledge of analytical instrumentation, pneumatics, and mechanics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database/CRM/ERP applications
Customer service abilities and multi-tasking capability

Compensation: $16.78–$25.16 hourly
