JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board certified in Emergency Medicine
  • Licenses: Active Texas License
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA for the state of application
  • Certifications: ATLS, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP
  • Experience: At least one year of EM experience
  • Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years, 4 hours of Stroke CME annually, 16 hours of Trauma CME annually
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in a high-volume Level III Trauma Center.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Stroke and Trauma teams.
  • Perform bedside ultrasound and conscious sedation procedures as required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Cerner EMR system.
  • Must be available to work both day and night shifts as scheduled.
