RN - Emergency Department (ER/ED)

Shift: 3x12's. Required: CA RN, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH. BSN preferred. 2 years minimum experience required. No on-call. Every other weekend. Will need to float as necessary. Resource will be expected to work 2 of 3 major upcoming holidays.

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 2300-2500/month

Number of Visits Per Day: 79

Number of Rooms: 12

Number of Beds: 12

Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary

Patient Diagnoses: ED can see just about anything. If we cannot provide a service we treat/stabilize and transfer out.

2 Supervisor references preferred

Candidates will float within hospital when needed

No Specific Charting Experience Required

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer

Any Permanent Employee must be gone for at least 6 months

Labs must be completed labs 48-72 hours from signing

Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 7.25 hrs. Modules are completed during orientation and factored in NBO Modules are tracked through e-learning during orientation
