Shape LLC, part of Noratel North America, designs and manufactures custom electrical transformers and power magnetics for demanding OEM applications. We are seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead production at our Addison, Illinois facility. As part of Noratel’s global manufacturing network, you’ll help deliver products that power critical technologies.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you’ll have a direct impact on our people, manufacturing performance, and capacity for growth.
What you’ll do
- Lead daily production, staffing, and scheduling to meet customer commitments.
- Coach and develop supervisors, leads, and production employees.
- Improve throughput, plant layout, and material flow through practical Lean methods.
- Turn operating metrics into clear priorities and sustained improvements.
- Recommend equipment and capital investments, support implementation.
- Partner across departments to strengthen safety, quality, ISO compliance, and ERP discipline.
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in production or plant leadership.
- Experience in custom, high-mix, engineered-to-order, or comparable industrial manufacturing.
- Strong skills in workforce leadership, capacity planning, Lean improvement, and operational reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems, ISO 9001 or comparable quality systems, and capital projects.
- Transformer, electrical equipment, or power magnetics experience is strongly preferred. SAGE 500 experience and Lean/Six Sigma certification are preferred.

- Compensation: Annual base salary of $95,000–$110,000, based on skills and experience. This role is bonus eligible.
