West River Mental Health is accepting applications for a full-time or part-time Front Desk Receptionist (Support Staff). We are seeking a multi-tasking, people-oriented and highly motivated individual with time management skills. The Front Desk Receptionist creates a welcoming environment for clients and visitors, while managing a multi-line phone system, all aspects of electronic provider scheduling, medical records and general office support as needed. Professionalism, positive attitude and ability to work one-on-one with clients and staff is a must. Responsibilities include extensive phone and face to face contact, scheduling client appointments, preparing initial client paperwork and letters, verifying client information, collecting fees, and completing required client paperwork. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to professionally interact and communicate in person and over the phone.
• Skill in and ability to answer multi-line phone system.
• Skill in and ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Skill in and ability to comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Skill in and ability to accurately account for money collected.
• Ability to maintain up-to-date required company trainings.
• Ability to maintain a South Dakota driver's license and vehicle liability insurance and safely operate a vehicle in all weather conditions.

Physical Dimensions:

• Hand and finger dexterity for computer keyboarding.
• Requires prolonged sitting, standing, and frequent bending, stooping and light to moderate lifting exerting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent acceptable experience.
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft environment required.
• Medical records experience is preferred.
