Shipping/Receiving Lead

Type: Full-time, temp to hire

Salary: $19 -$25 / hour depending upon experience

S chedule : Monday-Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm; Fri 7am-11am

OT : Optional overtime available Monday-Saturday

The essential and primary responsibilities include:

• Accurate and timely processing of customer orders for shipment.
• Identify, document, and properly process domestic and international shipments.
• Receive, tag, and stock inventory.
• Build Gaylord Skids, bins, baskets for production with accurate tear weights.
• Assist in material handling on the shop floor using overhead crane and tow motor.
• Process and log raw materials used on the production floor.
• Evaluate and assist with process improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Continually learn, grow, and strive for self-improvement while helping others reach their full potential.
• Other responsibilities as directed.

A typical day would be spent pulling, packing, and shipping customer orders. It may also include assisting with incoming shelf stock, receiving goods, stocking shelves, verifying inventory or assisting in crating end effectors for shipment by LTL transport.

Education / Experience :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the stamping industry or piece/part manufacturing is preferred.
• Computer literacy (Windows/Office environment).
• Experience working with special needs adults and students is a plus.

Physical D emands :

• Standing and walking – 95%; Sitting – 5%.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
