External Wholesaler - Private Markets

ABS is seeking a high-performing External Wholesaler with a demonstrated history of successful asset gathering, direct advisor sales, and territory growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, developing long-term advisor relationships, and driving meaningful net flows. This is a unique opportunity to represent our differentiated Pre-IPO & Growth Fund and broader private markets platform, delivering institutional-quality late-stage private company exposure to financial advisors through an innovative interval fund structure. What You'll Do Drive Sales & Grow Your Territory Drive net flows into ABS's The Pre-IPO & Growth Fund (IPOSX) and private investment vehicles. Drive net flows into ABS's Insights Emerging Markets Mutual Fund (IEMSX). Own and execute a territory business plan focused on asset growth and advisor penetration. Conduct frequent in-person advisor meetings, due diligence presentations, and client events. Prospect, develop, and convert new advisor relationships while expanding existing partnerships. Consistently exceed sales activity and asset-gathering goals. Own the Advisor Relationship Serve as a trusted resource to RIAs, family offices, and wealth management firms seeking private market exposure. Deliver compelling presentations highlighting late-stage private markets, liquidity innovation, and portfolio construction benefits. Navigate complex due diligence discussions with advisors, investment committees, and platform partners. Develop long-term relationships that drive repeat allocations and referrals. Tell the ABS Story Communicate ABS's differentiated investment philosophy, sourcing network, and competitive advantages. Translate complex private market concepts into clear, actionable insights for financial advisors. Use real-world examples—including pre-IPO investing, secondary market opportunities, and portfolio construction—to demonstrate value. Position ABS as a thought leader in private markets and wealth management innovation. Execute & Scale Maintain an active sales pipeline and territory strategy using CRM tools. Monitor sales activity, advisor engagement, and asset flows to optimize territory performance. Partner with marketing, investment professionals, and senior leadership to support platform expansion and advisor education. Represent ABS at conferences, due diligence meetings, and industry events. What We're Looking For 5+ years of successful external wholesaling experience. Demonstrated history of raising assets and consistently exceeding sales goals. Proven ability to develop new advisor relationships and grow an assigned territory. Existing relationships with RIAs, independent broker-dealers, private banks, or wirehouses are strongly preferred. Strong understanding of alternative investments and private markets; experience marketing private equity or private credit strategies is a plus. Outstanding presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment. Bachelor's degree required.
