This role offers a mix of time in the branch and time in the field, developing both patient‑facing clinical skills and strong workflow independence.You’ll provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, patient education, and clinical support, playing a key role in ensuring safe transitions from hospital to home.Salary range$40–$44 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and locationOn‑Call transparencyRotation is area‑based, not branch‑basedCoverage area includes Sonoma County, Marin County, and some coastal areasRotation frequency: Once every 5 weeks, Monday–SundayWeekend call‑outs are rare and generally involve telehealth supportMileage and time start from home during on‑call rotationPersonal vehicle required (mileage reimbursed)What you’ll doConduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑upsEducate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenanceAssess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriatelyRespond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needsCollaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teamsMaintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptopSet up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilationInspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating conditionPerform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signsPerforms other duties as requiredWhat we look forRegistered Respiratory Therapist with an active RT licenseAbility to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.Valid driver's licenseComfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentationEducationGraduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy programCertificates, licenses, registrations or professional designationsHold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapyHold a current CPR CertificationHold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practiceIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.Teammate BenefitsAs an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
