Radiation Therapist - Travel Job

Join a fast-paced team at an area hospital in Huntersville, NC where your expertise as a Radiation Therapist will directly impact lives. From administering targeted treatments to collaborating with oncology professionals, you will play a vital role in helping patients fight cancer with confidence and compassion.

What You'll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

• ARRT (T) certification in Radiation Therapy

• Valid North Carolina Radiation Therapy state license, if required

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist

• Required experience with ARIA and TrueBeam systems

• Experience with adult outpatient treatment settings

• Experience delivering External Beam Therapy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CT simulation and simulation of treatment sites

• Experience with CBCT, kV, and mV imaging

• Experience treating benign brain tumors, heterotopic bone, IMRT, or keloid cases

• Shift Details: Day 5x8 (07:00 - 15:30)
• Traveler must be able to screen first-time patients
• Traveler may be asked to float to other facilities as needed

Additional Duties:

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment

• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment

• Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy

• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records
