About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401!

Days or Nights available
7am - 7pm/ 7pm - 7am
every other weekend and holidays as required (Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week)

Cardiac 6N- Days and Nights
Pulmonary 6s- Days
Stroke 5N- Nights
Respiratory 7N- Nights

Requirements

Must have experience/skill set: 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.
Must have ASN degree.
Certs: AHA BLS 
License: AL or Compact License (No temp Licenses accepted)
Floating: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. 
Charting System: Meditech

2 attempts to pass a Dysrhythmia Basic exam during onboarding. Contract cancelled if you can't pass within 2 times. 

Unit Info: Our Pulmonary Unit is 36-bed telemetry unit directed towards diagnosing and treating a wide range of patients with respiratory disorders. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and value the delivery of high-quality, specialized care for patients and their families suffering from a variety of lung diseases or injuries. This unit takes pride in the collaborative relationships with departments such as respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management and pharmacy. This specialty requires a foundation of knowledge in general medicine as well as expertise in respiratory skills. ? Floating: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. ? Ratios: Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and value the delivery of high-quality, specialized care for patients and their families suffering from a variety of lung diseases or injuries.
