Manufacturing / Production Supervisor

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Manufacturing / Production Supervisor to join their team. The Manufacturing / Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This individual will lead, coach, and develop production teams while driving process improvements and operational reliability across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently achieved.
• Champion a strong safety-first culture by enforcing policies, procedures, and best practices on the production floor.
• Coordinate and optimize production schedules to align with customer demand and internal planning requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop production employees, including performance management and workforce planning.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions to improve productivity, reduce waste, and control overtime.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure equipment reliability by partnering with maintenance teams on preventative maintenance and downtime reduction strategies.
• Support inventory management, scrap reduction, and cost control initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role within an industrial or related environment.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams on the floor.
• Demonstrated success improving processes, efficiency, and production output in a fast-paced setting.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze performance data and make informed operational decisions.
• Experience in engineered products, industrial manufacturing, or similar environments.
• Exposure to production planning, supply chain coordination, and KPI-driven environments.

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $80,000

Benefits Offered: 2 weeks of vacation, paid sick leave where applicable by state law, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance Vision Insurance, 401K, and Life Insurance.
