Experienced Battery or Engineering Technician Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year We are seeking an experienced engineering technician to support product development, testing, and manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast‑paced engineering environment and has strong troubleshooting skills. Experience with battery technology is a plus. This is a hands‑on role, perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving complex problems, and helping take innovative designs all the way to scalable production. This is not a leadership or management‑track position. Requirements Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience. Experience with electrical and mechanical testing tools (DMMs, oscilloscopes, torque tools, etc.). Ability to read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and test procedures. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong attention to detail, ensuring high‑quality workmanship in all tasks performed. Familiarity with electrical safety, proper use of PPE, OSHA standards and all typical workplace safety guidelines. Battery technology or grid‑scale energy storage experience a plus. Key Responsibilities Assist engineers in building, assembling, and testing prototypes and production units. Perform diagnostic evaluations, test set‑ups, data collection, and documentation. Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for product or system issues. Maintain lab equipment, tools, and test fixtures. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality control. Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with industry and company standards. Perform shipping, supply organization, and inventory tracking duties.
