• Location: San Francisco, CA 94158
• Healthcare Setting: Academic/training practice focused on orthopedic care
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,360 - $5,750
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Assignment Length: 26 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Schedule: Monday and Friday arthroplasty clinic, Tuesday and Thursday perioperative telephone visits, and Wednesday split between morning admin time and afternoon clinic
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Patient Volume: 18-20 patients per day
• Patient Population: Adults
• Call: No call required
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days

• Active California Nurse Practitioner license required
• Current California DEA with Schedule 2/2N authority required
• One of the following NP board certifications required: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC
• BLS certification required; all certifications must be AHA
• Minimum of 3-5 years of orthopedic NP experience required
• Perioperative experience or experience running preparation visits for surgery preferred
• Experience with total joint or arthroplasty patients strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable performing injections
• Current CV, provider questionnaire, and license verification required at submission
• Must be able to provide required credentialing information promptly to support privileging timelines

• Provide high-quality orthopedic care for adult patients in a busy outpatient and perioperative setting
• Support arthroplasty clinic workflows and perioperative telephone visits
• Manage preoperative preparation visits and coordinate care for surgical patients
• Perform injections as part of routine orthopedic practice
• Collaborate with MAs, practice coordinators, surgeons, and clinical support staff
• Handle full-time coverage needs while maintaining efficiency and patient-centered care
• Document accurately in Epic and communicate effectively across the care team
• Contribute to a smooth, organized patient experience in a high-performing orthopedic program
