Energy Transactions Associate (Junior)

Overview Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full‑time employment opportunity for a junior lawyer with 0‑2 years of experience in our Energy and Natural Resources practice group in Houston. Responsibilities The Associate will work closely with the team on a variety of complex domestic and international energy transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project development, project finance, project contracts, and related transactional matters across conventional, renewable, and transitional energy sectors. Qualifications 0‑2 years of legal experience, preferably in energy. J.D. degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Admission or pending admission to one or more state bars; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Good standing with the Texas State Bar; if not admitted, must sit for the Texas Bar Exam in summer 2026. Strong writing skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
