Our engineers help customers strengthen grid reliability, integrate renewable energy, and modernize critical power and water infrastructure across North America.We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join our Renewables team in Cranberry Township, PA.As a Controls Engineer, you'll work on real-world automation projects that support solar, battery storage, wind, power generation, and water treatment facilities. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll develop innovative control solutions, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to projects that have a direct impact on essential infrastructure relied upon every day.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Lead the preparation and maintenance of engineering plans, schedules, and technical documentation for renewable energy projectsDesign, simulate, test, and implement renewable power control applications for solar, battery energy storage, and wind generation assetsConfigure and troubleshoot electronic databases using industry-standard communication protocols and datalinksServe as a primary technical contributor during customer Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance TestsSupport site commissioning activities and provide remote technical support as neededInitiate requisitions for project purchases and coordinate with vendors and subcontractorsManage the design, testing, integration, and shipment of project hardwareIdentify and recommend opportunities to improve engineering processes, tools, or standard solutionsManage time and priorities effectively to meet project schedules and commitmentsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and technical expertiseMonitor project financial performance and support cost and schedule control effortsWho You Are:You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and changing priorities. You establish and maintain effective customer relationships by communicating clearly and following through on commitments.For This Role, You Will Need:Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experienceA minimum of 2 years applying engineering principles in controls engineering, industrial automation, renewable energy, power generation, water treatment, manufacturing, or related technical environmentWillingness and ability to travel up to 10% domesticallyLegal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided.
