IntelliRout is seeking dependable and caring drivers to transport students safely to and from school throughout Fort Bend County.

Drivers use their own vehicles and complete scheduled trips during weekday school transportation hours. This opportunity is well suited for people looking for flexible, consistent supplemental income while making a meaningful difference in their community.

Estimated earnings: approximately $350–$900 per week , depending on route assignments, trip distances, availability, and the number of completed trips. Earnings are not guaranteed.

Typical Schedule

Morning Transportation

Approximately 6:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m.

Afternoon Transportation

Approximately 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.

Most drivers complete approximately two to four trips per day , depending on route availability and assignment needs. Drivers may be able to work morning routes, afternoon routes, or both, subject to operational requirements.

Driver Responsibilities

• Safely transport students between their homes, schools, and approved destinations
• Arrive on time for every scheduled trip
• Follow assigned routes and trip instructions
• Maintain timely and professional communication with dispatch
• Provide courteous service to students, families, and school personnel
• Follow all applicable IntelliRout and EverDriven safety requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and reliable vehicle
• Accurately confirm trip activity using the required mobile applications
• Notify dispatch promptly about delays, incidents, or route concerns
• Accept additional rescue trips when available and convenient

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Have a satisfactory driving record
• Own or have consistent access to a reliable personal vehicle
• Maintain current vehicle registration and insurance
• Have a smartphone with dependable cellular service
• Communicate professionally and respond promptly to dispatch
• Be dependable, punctual, patient, and comfortable working with students
• Successfully complete EverDriven’s contractor onboarding and compliance requirements, including applicable background, driving-record, vehicle, and safety reviews

Additional documentation or qualifications may be required during onboarding.

Compensation

Drivers are compensated for completed trips according to the applicable route and trip arrangements.

Estimated weekly earnings generally range from $350 to $900 , depending on factors such as:

• Number of routes assigned
• Number of trips completed
• Trip distance and duration
• Morning and afternoon availability
• Student transportation demand
• Additional rescue trips accepted

Route availability, trip volume, and earnings may vary by week and are not guaranteed.
