This position requires 12-hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays as assigned.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to adolescents, seniors, and adults across various units, including high acuity and low acuity settings, with a focus on mental health and behavioral health interventions. Candidates should be prepared to float to all units as needed and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist in the implementation of treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and behavioral health status.
• Participate in patient assessments and collaborate in care planning.
• Administer medications and therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
• Engage in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as necessary.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including adolescents and adults.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN License in Tennessee or eligible for licensure.
• BLS Certification.
• Handle with Care Certification is required.
