Registered Nurse (RN)
Nightingale Respite Care is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for Client Assessments to become part of our team and join our mission of providing quality non-medical homecare to our aging and veteran populations.

Responsibilities:
- Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of in-home care Veteran clients
- Assess clients’ conditions and chart observations, and perform evaluation tasks
- Educate clients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures, and make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the client’s quality of life
- Staff Supervisory Visits
- Complete appropriate and timely documentation of all client care, including progress note, summaries, and per state requirements
- Provide effective communication to clients, their family members, and other team members

Qualifications:
- Registered Nursing Degree (Associate or Bachelor) from an accredited college of nursing with current unrestricted registration and license in the applicable state required
- Current state license in good standing as an RN
- TB up to date
- Current CPR certification
- 1 year experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare agency setting
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation
- Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Adequate physical endurance
