This position will entail a wide variety of auto body needs including tearing down and rebuilding of vehicles, assisting with parts, organizing our production line of vehicle repairs and helping with prep while learning the business and ensuring that the shop maintains a consistently high level of safety and customer satisfaction that is consistent with Baker's Auto's expectations.
Job Description:
- Willingness to Learn: Be a problem solver while utilizing the knowledge and expertise of your mentor.
- Comply with manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work.
- Safety: Follow all shop protocol that affects shop operation, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste and use of safety and health personal protective equipment.
- Operate and use all body shop equipment properly and safely.
- Masks off vehicles and prepare for paint
- Prep repairs properly, prime area for paint and get ready for final paint
- Mixing paint
- Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair.
- Keep all work areas clean.
- Assist co-workers in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Conduct yourself professionally while in the workplace
