Typically it is 5-6 shifts every 4 weeks) ****On call is required***** Travel RN -(OR)\n Location: Alaska Regional Hospital\n Address: 2801 Debarr Road, Anchorage AK 99508\n Floor: 2 nd floor\n Shift Time: Start Time: 06:30 AM End Time: 05:00 PM\n Shift Type: Day Shift\n General Information\n Tell us about the unit(s): \n · Number of Beds – 11 ORs\n · Shift for this position – Three twelve-hour shifts (weekends if possible)\n · Call Expectation – Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period)\n · Number of Staff – Varies depending on day\n · Type of staff:\n o Day Shift – Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs and 5 Surgical support techs\n o Night Shift – One charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backup\n · Patient Ratios – 1:1\n · Type of equipment – Variety of OR beds and equipment\n · EMR - Epic\n Typical hiring profile\n Skill Set Most recruited for: OR RN \n Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.\n · Patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field\n Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.\n · Experience as circulator\n · Experience as Scrub\n · CNOR\n List typical procedures performed on unit(s): \n · Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)\n · Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics\n Best personality Fit: \n · Positive outlook.
