As a result, we are growing quickly and are looking for energetic, motivated team members to expand our nest.Your Role and ImpactViewSonic is seeking an HR Generalist to execute both recruitment and core employee relations functions at our Southern California offices (Brea & Chino). This role balances standard full-cycle recruitment responsibilities with employee relations ownership, serving as a primary point of contact for staff inquiries, policy guidance and enforcement, and workplace culture initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills, objective judgment, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive personnel matters.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent AcquisitionManage the full-cycle recruitment process, including resume screening, candidate evaluations, sourcing, ATS maintenance, reference checks, and interview coordination with hiring managers.Coordinate the end-to-end hiring administration process, from drafting job descriptions and facilitating requisition and offer approvals to creating new-hire employee records.Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process, including processing new hire documentation, scheduling and leading orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.Employee RelationsServe as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and general workplace matters.Assist managers and employees with conflict resolution, performance management procedures, and the documentation of performance plans.Support the HR Director with internal investigations and the resolution of sensitive employee relations issues in compliance with company guidelines.Maintain employee files, job requisitions, I-9 documentation, workers' compensation records, and related HR files to ensure compliance.Provide support for the planning and coordination of company events, including employee gatherings, town halls, and recognition programs.Perform other administrative duties and HR projects as assigned.Your ProfileBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5-7 years of professional HR experience, including a combination of recruitment and employee relations functions.Strong experience with HRIS platforms (UKG or similar), ATS tools, and MS Office.Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools (such as Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar) to streamline workflows, support recruiting efforts, and improve operational efficiency.Strong communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and professional objectivity.Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.High level of integrity and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is desirable but not required.What's in it for you:Medical, Dental and Vision insurance options401k with company matchPaid Time OffCompany provided equipmentWork Environment & RequirementsOffice Presence: Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days local offsiteEnvironment: Normal office conditions.Physical Effort: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazardsAt ViewSonic, our mission is to provide excellence in visual experience by combining products, solutions, and ecosystem developments.
