Join Our Team as a Caregiver at Senior Helpers - Lafayette!
Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of seniors?
Senior Helpers - Lafayette is hiring full-time Caregivers , Personal Care Aides (PCA) , Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) , and Home Health Aides (HHA) in Lafayette and surrounding parishes! In this rewarding role, you’ll provide essential in-home care , companion care , and personal care services to elderly clients.
Impact Lives: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and provide emotional companionship.
Competitive Pay: Earn $10–$12 per hour , paid biweekly, with a full benefits package , including health insurance and paid time off (PTO) .
Flexible Hours: Variable shifts available. Must be able to work at least every other weekend .
CNA Encouraged to Apply! Ask about our Weekend Warrior positions and rates.
Provide direct care , personal care , and non-medical home care per individualized care plans.
Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance , and transfers .
Monitor client health, safety, and behavioral changes and report concerns to supervisors.
Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping , and offer companionship and emotional support .
Maintain accurate care documentation .
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ year of caregiver, home care, or senior care experience preferred.
Strong communication skills , reliability, and ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license , reliable transportation , and ability to pass a background check .
Experience as a CNA , PCA , HHA , or experience with dementia care , Alzheimer’s care , or mobility assistance is a plus.
