DSS Service Management Lead Associate Director

The opportunity The Data Security Services (DSS) team is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of processes and supporting technologies to identify, detect and prevent misuse, unauthorized access and improper handling of sensitive data. The DSS Service Management Lead will directly report to the Global lead of Data Security Services and will be responsible for interfacing with internal customers and stakeholders to deliver enterprise‑scale data security services across the EY organization. Your key responsibilities Lead a team of experienced Area Service Managers who serve as the primary contact for customers providing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and other Data Security Services. Lead Service Management Support team members providing project management, change management, process framework and reporting support for the three DSS functions. Collaborate with other DSS leads to develop, design and execute Data Security Services strategy aligned with EY Information Security strategy. Provide direct support to DSS customers and key stakeholders for continuous service improvement, including gathering feedback, articulating strategy and roadmap, and delivering regular service updates. Ability to manage escalations and difficult situations under pressure. Ability to facilitate efficient communication across all levels of the DSS service to ensure project goals and objectives are met. Versatile communication style that adapts to the audience, from senior management to external parties. To qualify for the role you must have Demonstrated integrity and judgement within a professional environment. Advanced degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience. Ten or more years of experience in IT Service Management roles. Five or more years of experience in project or program management. Exceptional judgement, tact and decision‑making ability. Outstanding management, interpersonal, communication, organizational and decision‑making skills. Ideally, you’ll also have A global mindset for working with different cultures and backgrounds. Ability to balance firm security needs with business impact and benefit. The base salary range for this job in the US is $152,700 to $294,000. For the New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) the range is $183,300 to $334,100.
