Assignment Overview
Join our MedSurg team in an acute care setting, providing comprehensive care to patients with varied medical conditions. Ideal candidates will have MedSurg experience and strong patient care skills.
Assignment Details
- Shift Details: 12hr Nights
- Weekly Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2538 (negotiable)
- Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours
- Charting System: EPIC
- Floating Requirements: ICU, ER, BHC if experienced; otherwise, no floating outside Med Surg
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to doctors
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Assess and document patient progress
- Maintain tele strip records and sign off on them
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL license or initiation of the application process
- 1 Year MedSurg experience
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Negative drug screen for all panels
Preferred:
- Experience in ICU, ER, or BHC
PEL/VIP Job ID #65441163. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
