Cost Engineer

Position Overview Skanska is searching for a dynamic Cost Engineer. The role supports the project team with estimating, budget management, subcontractor pricing and lean project strategy implementation. The Cost Engineer works under direct supervision, gathers and distributes information, and reports directly to the Preconstruction Director or Project Manager. Strong organizational and accounting skills, along with teamwork, are essential. Responsibilities Assist in cost estimating and budget management. Support subcontractor pricing and lean project strategy implementation. Gather and distribute project information. Report to project leadership. Perform background checks as required. Qualifications Excellent math skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems. Minimum 2 years of construction or professional experience. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent required (or 8 years equivalent experience plus at least 3 years prior relevant experience).
