Sales Associate

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Associate will be responsible for helping assist the sales team in all aspects of the business to help drive revenue across ABTV West's linear, streaming, website, social media and digital platforms. This position is also benefit-eligible including: medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K eligibility; employee contributions after 3 months, employer matching and safe harbor after 1 year and 1000 hours of employment. Additional perks include paid holidays, sick days, vacation accrual and tickets to games. The expected hourly rate of pay for this position will be between $26.44/hour ($55,000/annual) and $28.85 ($60,000/annual), with final offers determined by factors such as experience and skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Sales Associate include but are not limited to the following activities:

• Order entry and maintenance of Local and National linear and digital orders.
• Weekly performance and posting updates for Local and National client base.
• Assisting in invoice maintenance and collections with sales team and finance leads.
• Assisting in hospitality (tickets, suites, catering) for client entertainment.
• Helping in creative process tracking down client creative assets including commercial traffic and logo assets.
• Interaction with sales staff regularly, including attending client and prospect meetings to provide support and feedback on linear sports and digital platform integrations and opportunities.
• Maintaining high-level communication with sales management, sales staff, corresponding departments, and vendors.
• Assisting in entertainment of partners and prospects at sporting events throughout Southern California.
• Effectively communicating linear sports and digital advertising knowledge to clients and internal sales staff.
• Energetic contributions to the sales & partnerships team with a positive mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred; experience in a fast-paced sales environment a plus.
• Experience with enablement & research tools like Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Media Sales, Tableau Salesforce, Smartsheet, is a plus.
• Effective relationship-building, customer service, communication skills.
• Strong understanding of the changing landscape of integrated sales and marketing.

Physical Demands

• Ability to frequently sit for extended periods of time.
• Continuously operate devices that are capable of completing essential job functions such as computers, phones, and accompanying equipment.
• Ability to occasionally work in inclement weather (when in stadium).
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
