USA Rare Earth is building the future of domestic critical mineral supply—and we’re looking for a Procurement Manager to help scale our operations.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll build procurement systems from the ground up , support mining and processing operations, and lead a growing team (starting with your first hire: Buyer).

What You’ll Do:

• Establish and scale procurement systems for mining & processing operations and capital projects
• Lead sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance & Finance to ensure material readiness
• Manage supplier performance, mitigate supply chain risk, and drive cost efficiencies
• Support major equipment purchases, shutdowns, and inventory planning
• Build and lead a high-performing procurement team

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of procurement/supply chain experience in mining, manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments
• Leadership experience (1–3+ years managing or mentoring others)
• Proven experience with strategic sourcing, contracts, and inventory planning
• Strong ERP experience ( Business Central or Smartsheet preferred )
• Ability to build and improve procurement systems in a fast-growing environment

• Mining, solvent extraction, or continuous-process experience
• Capital project procurement leadership
• MRO & spare parts management expertise
• Certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CPM)
