By providing strategic financial leadership and overseeing complex resource stewardship, the CFO ensures that the agency possesses the fiscal resilience and data-driven insights necessary to execute its mission-driven objectives. This role bridges high-level strategic planning with rigorous financial oversight to drive organizational growth and stability.Values: Demonstrates behaviors which contribute to the growth and achievement of Comprehensive’s mission:Passion for the Work, Compassion for the ClientDemonstrates empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment in all interactionsPrioritizes client safety, dignity, and outcomesMaintains composure and effectiveness in high-pressure or emotionally demanding situationsCustomer ServiceTakes ownership of issues and follows through to resolutionCommunicates clearly, honestly, and proactivelyMaintains a solutions-oriented approach and supports both clients and colleaguesCollaborative Problem SolvingEngages others to develop effective, aligned solutionsCommunicates openly and works across teams to reduce silosShares accountability for decisions and outcomesLeadership ExpectationSets clear expectations and holds self and others accountableAddresses issues at the appropriate levelAligns team performance with organizational goalsKey Success MeasuresDays in Accounts Receivable: Maintain at less than 30 days.Operating Cash: Maintain within 15-20 days.Operating Margin: Greater than 7%.Key Activities:Strategic Planning and Cross-Functional Alignment: Orchestrate the translation of high-level organizational vision into actionable enterprise-wide strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration across departments to drive long-term mission fulfillment.Operational Oversight and Process Excellence: Architect and champion scalable administrative frameworks, continuously optimizing workflows to enhance organizational agility, reduce systemic friction, and improve overall operational efficiency.Financial and Resource Stewardship: Direct the strategic allocation of capital and human resources, exercising rigorous fiscal oversight to ensure financial sustainability while balancing investment in mission-critical initiatives and administrative infrastructure.Governance, Risk, and Compliance Strategy: Establish enterprise-wide governance standards and proactive risk-mitigation frameworks, ensuring full regulatory adherence while fostering a culture of ethics and operational resilience.Executive Leadership and Talent Optimization: Cultivate high-performing executive teams by providing mentorship, clear accountability, and performance-based oversight, directly coaching senior leaders (CHRO, CFO, CIO, Director of Compliance) to foster leadership growth and organizational impact.Skills & Experience:Proven track record of strategic financial leadership in complex, multi-site organizations, with expertise in fiscal planning, capital allocation, and risk management.Ability to drive enterprise-wide financial strategy, integrating data-driven insights into operational decision-making to ensure organizational sustainability.Expertise in overseeing multi-site financial operations, managing complex budgets, and establishing robust internal controls and governance frameworks.Demonstrated capacity to lead, mentor, and cultivate high-performing finance and administrative teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Experience navigating regulatory environments relevant to healthcare (e.g., audits, compliance, financial reporting requirements) and effectively communicating financial performance to executive leadership and boards.Ability to partner with the CEO and executive team to identify growth opportunities, mitigate operational risks, and optimize resource utilization across the organization.Education & Experience:Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MPA) strongly preferred;
