Attorney / Associate - Real Estate

Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a well established full service firm recognized by Chambers USA seeking a second to sixth year Real Estate Associate to join its Miami office.

This is a strong platform for a commercial real estate associate who wants sophisticated financing and development work, direct partner access, and meaningful ownership of transactions. You will work closely with experienced real estate partners and a collaborative team that values practical business insight, client service, and long term associate development.

The Role

• Lead and support commercial real estate transactions and financings across a broad range of asset classes
• Work closely with lenders, developers, servicers, asset managers, owners and investors on complex matters
• Draft, review and negotiate loan documents, purchase agreements, leases and related transactional documentation
• Manage due diligence, title and survey review and coordinate closings with clients and counterparties
• Collaborate directly with partners while taking substantive ownership of workstreams and client communications

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a second to sixth year Real Estate Associate with:

• 2 to 6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions or finance at a respected firm
• Significant hands on experience drafting and negotiating core real estate and financing documents
• Admission to practice in Florida or a strong interest in promptly gaining Florida admission
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated legal writing and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively on site with a team while handling matters independently as needed
