Forklift / CDL B Driver
Express Employment Professionals – Watseka, IL is partnering with a local manufacturing company to hire a Forklift / CDL B Driver . This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys a mix of warehouse, production, and local driving responsibilities and wants a steady, full-time position.
Pay: $18–$21/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday
Location: Watseka, IL
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage metal materials.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are secured properly.
- Make local deliveries and pickups using a Class B CDL vehicle .
- Transport materials between the facility and local customers or job sites.
- Assist with moving materials throughout the production and warehouse areas.
- Complete required delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Keep the forklift, truck, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations.
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to keep materials moving efficiently.
- Valid Class B CDL
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Previous forklift experience.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and handle heavy metal materials.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Safety-minded with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working both indoors on the production floor and outdoors while making deliveries.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
