Transportation Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Transportation Litigation Associate in Costa Mesa, California. This role offers remote work flexibility, allowing for a portion of the workweek to be conducted remotely. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of transportation, automobile, and trucking cases, collaborating closely with senior associates and partners. Duties Independently manage cases through all litigation stages from inception to trial. Attend court hearings, manage discovery, and take and defend depositions. Proactively manage client communications throughout litigation. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients and compliance with case management requirements. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required. Must be licensed to practice in the State of California. 1+ years of transportation litigation experience preferred. Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Experience handling discovery for complex matters with substantial knowledge of evidentiary objections. Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
