Pay Rate: $28.00-$34.00

Maintenance Technician – Ice Cream Manufacturing Facility (Riviera Beach, FL)

We’re hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to support our ice cream production plant in Riviera Beach. This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role responsible for keeping equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment (freezers, pumps, compressors, conveyors, refrigeration systems, etc.)
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues during production
• Support startups, shutdowns, and changeovers to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot freon refrigeration systems (experience preferred) We use a 3rd party for most of this.
• Diagnose issues with motors, gearboxes, valves, sensors, and control panels
• Complete work orders, logs, and documentation accurately and on time
• Assist with facility maintenance (lighting, plumbing, building systems)
• Work closely with production to ensure safe, smooth, and consistent operations

What This Role Requires

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Experience in a food, beverage, dairy, or cold-storage environment is a plus
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams
• Comfortable working in cold environments (freezers, refrigerated rooms)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, platforms, and tight spaces
• A mindset of ownership, accountability, and zero excuses
• Reliability — showing up on time, prepared, and ready to work
• Willingness to work some weekends or extended hours when needed
