Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise personalized therapy strategies to support their functional achievements.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven methodologies to enhance patients' motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living.
• Engage with a Multi-Disciplinary Team: Work synergistically with OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their support systems on therapy techniques that promote ongoing progress.
• Track and Adjust Outcomes: Monitor patient development, ensuring therapy plans remain effective and modify as necessary to keep patients on track.

Education Required

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications Needed

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Certifications from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) mandatory

Skills Required
