About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Sales Engineering to play a pivotal role in the technical growth and customer engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales engineering team, with a focus on technical leadership, team building, and solution design. This senior leadership position demands a hands-on technical leader with a strong background in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or systems engineering, and a proven track record in people leadership. The role involves aligning technical support with sales strategy, providing technical leadership throughout the sales cycle, and ensuring the technical credibility of solutions with customers, sales, and product teams. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Sales Engineering include hiring, developing, and leading a team of world-class sales engineers, owning technical responses to RFIs/RFPs, and managing customer demonstrations and trials. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a relevant field, direct experience in the US defense or government market, and a strong technical background in areas such as satellite communications, terminal integration, or RF/antenna systems. The role also requires the ability to influence at a senior leadership level, act as the voice of the customer in product and engineering, and ensure the technical accuracy of solutions in the fulfillment process. An active US security clearance is mandatory, and international defense market experience is highly desirable.
