Assignment Overview

Join a dynamic ICU Neurology unit at a Level III Trauma Center, providing specialized care for neurological patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in neurocritical care and a strong commitment to teamwork and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced neurological care for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, and other neurocritical conditions
• Manage medical respiratory overflow patients and general medical ICU overflow
• Collaborate with critical care team including Critical Care NPs and Intensivists
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and care coordination

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 4 years of ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, arterial lines, and sedation management
• EPIC system proficiency

Preferred:

• Experience with CVVH/CRRT and EVD
