Substance Abuse Counselor II (Day Shift) Location: Humble, TX (Harris County) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Responsibilities Completes comprehensive assessments of clients' substance abuse history and treatment requirements, and develops individualized treatment plans. Provides individual and group counseling and may facilitate didactic groups. Documents treatment and discharge plans, and clients' progress and responses to treatment; and maintains related records and charts. Performs case management and contributes to client care monitoring. Requirements LCDC or LPC licensed required. At least six months prior experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling preferred. Master's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or a related field required. Experience in a corrections environment preferred. Must be able to obtain clearance from Harris County. Compensation Range $21.00 - $23.00/hr based on experience and credentials.
