Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with other healthcare providers or independently (as credentialing allows)
• Guiding patients and their families through education about prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic strategies within your professional scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and overseeing chronic care management

• Documenting all patient interactions meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or comparable specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to secure within 90 days)
