Expeditor Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Expeditor to support company operations while assisting with Accounts Payable functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and can effectively balance operational responsibilities with administrative support.

The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between employees, vendors, and suppliers to ensure materials, parts, and equipment are delivered on time and meet company standards. In addition to expediting responsibilities, this position will provide support to the Accounts Payable department by assisting with high-volume invoice processing and other AP-related tasks. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Qualifications:

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong typing and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Expedite the delivery of materials, parts, and equipment to support company operations
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up on outstanding shipments
• Verify received materials meet company quality and quantity expectations
• Assist with stocking inventory, organizing materials and maintaining a clean work area
• Provide operational support while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures
• Serve as a liaison between vendors, warehouse personnel, and office staff
• Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations
• Support various functions within the Accounts Payable department
• Match purchase orders, invoices and receiving documents
• Code invoices and perform accurate data entry
• Resolve outstanding balances and invoice discrepancies with vendors
• Maintain organized AP records and filing systems
• Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
