Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for our client close to Decatur, AL. You will perform a variety of tasks. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading automotive manufacturer while building your long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Assist with in-house accounting projects, inputting project costs and financial data into Job Power and Microsoft Excel with 100% accuracy.
• Organize, digitize, and maintain strict control over physical and digital project files, invoices, accounts payable/receivable records, and receipts.
• Utilize strong communication skills to interact with internal teams, gather missing financial records, and keep project documentation up to date.
• Administrative Support: Assist management with routine administrative tasks to support overall office productivity.
• Acute Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for numbers; ability to catch data entry discrepancies and maintain pristine record-keeping.
• Reliable Schedule Adherence: Trustworthy attendance and reliable transportation to meet our early morning on-site scheduling needs.
• Strong Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for professional

Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties
• Microsoft Excel: Proficient in data entry, cell formatting, column sorting, and basic data organization.
• Accounting Software: Familiarity with accounting systems is a plus, but we are fully willing to train the right candidate on JobPower construction/project management accounting software.
• General Tech Literacy: Comfortable navigating Windows OS, digital filing systems (folders/subfolders), and handling email correspondence.
• High School Diploma/GED or graduation from certified technical school.
• Strong work ethic, good attendance, and ability to follow instructions.
• Must pass background & drug screening.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: 1st Shift TuesdayThursday Within the hours of 6:30 AM-5:00PM.

• Pay: $17.00/hr
