Student Account Specialist

Student Account Specialist Position Type: PCLS - Slotted Classified, Full‑time, 12‑month term. Hours per week: 37.5. Normal work schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00‑5:00, Friday 8:00‑12:30. Salary range: $37,200.00 – $48,300.00. Pay Grade: GEN06. Position held in the Office of Student Accounts. Responsibilities Assist students, parents, and other University colleagues with questions regarding billing, receiption, and disbursement functions. Process payments and deposits for all members of the University Community. Manage customer flow in the Office to streamline and reduce wait times. Qualifications High school diploma with experience in entry‑level accounting or bookkeeping. Bachelor’s degree may substitute for required work experience. Preferred: Experience in retail or other customer‑intensive industries; banking experience an advantage. Experience assisting and communicating with customers.
