National Veterinary Associates offers an externship program at Lee's Summit Animal Hospital North for 3rd and 4th year veterinary students. This unique opportunity allows students to work closely with experienced veterinarians to gain hands-on clinical experience and understanding of daily operations. Students will engage in gathering patient histories, performing exams, assisting in surgeries, and improving communication skills. Eligible students may receive a travel/living expense stipend.
