Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 05:30 - 18:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a cardiovascular surgical setting - Flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees Description: Responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition during the perioperative phase. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team. Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery processes. Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Participate in unit-based committees and professional development activities as needed. Maintain a safe and sterile environment in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
