Description: NEDCO, a non-traditional, commercial lender, is looking for a Commercial Loan Assistant to join our team. This position will be responsible for assisting the Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager in managing NEDCOs commercial loan portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Loan onboarding and entry of data into loan software

Document review for regulatory compliance

Performing account maintenance related to financial, insurance, real estate taxes, and payoffs

Collection of servicing documents from other lenders, borrowers, and insurance agents

Assist with the imaging of documents

Communication with lenders and borrowers relating to loan status and servicing

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field is preferred

Previous work experience in a law firm, bank, or insurance industry is preferred

Attention to detail

Demonstrate proficiency in learning and using computer software

Strong organizational skills relating to management of electronic data and physical documents

Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
