Pain Management Physician Assistant

Physician Assistant opportunity with growing Orthopedic practice. Responsiblity will be split between Pain Management and general Orthopedics. Manage both acute and chronic injury patients in office. Travel to satellite offices for Orthopedic Group based in Atlanta. PA will work autonomously so experience is required. Orthopedic Surgeon and Anesthesiologist are available for phone questions but not in office each day. About the Physician Assistant opportunity Personal Injury and Work related injury patients (70% of patients are spine/back injury) See up to 25 patients each day Office hours are 8:30-4:30, last patient scheduled at 3:45 Travel between multiple local office is required. 1-2 MAs to help room patients and set up procedures Trigger point injections, joint (shoulder, knee, hip) injections, and PRP injections EMR is eclinical works C arm in office for s Spine Injections Interventional Pain Management Anesthesiologist will visit the office several times each month for Procedures PA will complete Physical exam and History, order diagnostic testing, refer to Physical Therapy, refer to Anesthesiologist for Injection or Ablation, and refer to Orthopedic Surgeon for Surgical evaluation Requirements for the PA Pain Management opportunity Master’s completed as PA National Certification Completed Georgia State Medical License Experience working in PMR, Occupational Medicine, or Orthopedics Confident in working as solo Provider in office Interest in Musculoskeletal Anatomy and thorough evaluation and injury treatment Experience reading Xray, CT, and MRI Perks of the PA Pain management opportunity Base Salary- $120,000-$135,000 Bonus- percentage of base salary annual 15 days PTO and 3 sick/personal days 6 paid National Holidays Health insurance allowance at $400 for individual Malpractice coverage License fees covered CME allowance of $1,500 #J-18808-Ljbffr
