Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department in a high acuity, large volume setting. This role will involve direct patient care across a wide range of patient types from neonate to geriatric, with responsibilities including medication administration, trauma support, and use of advanced medical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications using barcode scanning and manage medication drips.
• Perform blood product administration and conduct triage with hospital-required testing.
• Set up and manage chest tubes, arterial lines, and support trauma and code cases.
• Provide care using bipap/vents, splinting, and assist in pediatric emergency interventions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a large volume ED with high acuity patients.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC.
• Experience with Point of Care Labs, and comprehensive understanding of ESI and Epic EMR.
