A school psychologist position is available in Biloxi, MS, offering a rewarding contract opportunity to support students' mental health and educational development. This role focuses on providing psychological services within a school setting, collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to foster a supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized intervention plans Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards Qualifications And Experience Valid school psychologist certification or licensure Experience conducting assessments and providing counseling in school settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse populations Knowledge of state and federal education laws and special education regulations Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize responsibilities efficiently Commitment to continuous professional development Location: This position is based in Biloxi, MS, offering an engaging community and access to Gulf Coast amenities.
