- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately using oral, injection, and self-administration methods based on service line requirements
- Perform nursing assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations and psychiatric screeners
- Support clients by answering medication questions and coordinating refill requests with providers according to established procedures
- Monitor medication administration records (MARs), complete medication counts, and manage housing medication inventory and refills
- Prepare and pass medications as required, ensuring compliance with clinical standards
- Room clients, verify medical histories, confirm visit purposes, and collect vital signs and specimens such as blood and urine
- Complete accurate, timely documentation for nursing assessments, client interactions, educational groups, and safety planning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical and medication records, assisting with lab and phlebotomy duties as needed
- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and medical concerns, including infection control and client hygiene
- Participate in required meetings and perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri
- Graduation from an accredited practical nurse program
- Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks
- Current driver's license with acceptable driving record and active auto insurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document clearly and professionally
- Ability to protect confidential and sensitive medical information in compliance with privacy standards
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Sedentary work involving exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and negligible force frequently
- Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional walking or standing
- Repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms for typing, documentation, and writing during the work shift
