The HVAC/R Technician role is primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment including air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers, RTUs, remote condensing units, ice machines, walk-in coolers & freezers, and upright refrigerators & freezers.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
  • Active EPA Certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations.

Position Summary

The Field Service Engineer III (FSE III) is a senior-level role responsible for leading complex field service operations, supporting key customer accounts, and mentoring junior engineers. This position combines advanced technical expertise with team leadership to ensure successful installation, maintenance, and repair of capital equipment.

Technical Leadership & Support

Competence and high-level service delivery.

Team overseeing and organization. I.E. - Documentation is timely and accurate; PMs are current and quality for FSE Group; Calibration Jigs inventory maintenance. Care of Company's assets, tools, laptop, cell phone, etc.

Teamwork with Sales and peers.

FSE III typically requires 7 - 10 years of related experience.

Education

  • AA/AS Degree preferred; 7 years mechanical, electromechanical equipment repair experience in the Surface Mount Technology industry sufficient in lieu of degree.

Frequent domestic and international travel (up to 80%)

Work performed at customer sites and in field environments

Must be able to lift 60-75 lbs and work within/around equipment. This position requires that the candidate be able to bend into machinery without restrictions.

Field Service Technician - Liquid Technologies

As a Field Service Technician, you will assist with the installation and commissioning of liquid processing and food projects, providing on-site and remote troubleshooting. You will support Service Sales and Customer Service Representatives with service agreements, spare parts, upgrades, and process optimization. With expertise in industry-specific equipment, you'll help design and estimate service projects, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain customer relationships. Travel up to 75% is required, along with a valid driver's license.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar position to include Rockwell PLC and HMI experience.
  • Liquid Processing, UHT and aseptic experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand instruction manuals, P&IDs, assembly drawings, PLC and HMI code, troubleshoot software, electrical, and mechanical problems.
  • Skilled with hand and power tools for installing and servicing automated machinery.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision but also work as part of a team.

Ideal Candidate

Position Summary

As a Part-Time Fitness Equipment Installer & Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

Repairing, troubleshooting, moving, assembling, and installing fitness equipment.

Ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and fully functional before completion.

Managing service calls, installations, and equipment diagnostics independently from the beginning.

Providing professional customer service at commercial and residential job sites.

Tracking and reporting service work, job details, and equipment-related needs accurately.

This is a hands-on technical role that requires experience, self-sufficiency, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of installation, repair, maintenance, or fitness equipment service experience preferred Must be able to work on your own when starting Reliable transportation (Truck, SUV, or Van preferred) High School Diploma or GED Professional appearance and strong communication skills Ability to lift 150 lbs and safely move heavy equipment with proper technique and support when needed Must pass a background check and drug test (CBD/Marijuana prohibited) Smoke- and vape-free workplace

Work Schedule & Pay

Minimum 20 hours per week available, Monday-Friday during business hours Must be available at least 1 full weekday per week Some Saturday work and full days out of town as needed (approximately 5% - 20% out of town) Pay: Starts at $20 per hour All hires start as contractors for the first 3 months and first 200 hours before being considered for employment

Join Honeywell as a Field Service Technician I in Louisville, KY and take on a role that offers training, autonomy, and the chance to make an impact.

Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Technician - Gas Leak Surveys based in Louisville, Kentucky .

You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor and you'll work out of our Louisville, KY location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will learn and complete the on-site inspection of gas facilities, appropriately investigate specific findings, properly document all inspection results, maintain a safe work environment, and respectfully communicate with customers.

You will go through the training and onboarding process, and later you will be expected to work alone without supervision all over the 18-county service territory held by our client. You will be home every night, following a Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm schedule. Travel to support additional projects may be required.

You will drive a company vehicle, and will be issued a laptop, a cell phone and required PPE/uniforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical support and service to customers

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of systems

Install and configure equipment and software

Collaborate with cross functional teams to address customer needs

Maintain accurate records of service activities and documentation

YOU MUST HAVE

Must participate in training and pass operator qualifications for service.

Must pass DOT drug screen.

Valid Driver's license with driving record acceptable to Honeywell.

High School Diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ability to carry required tools and tool bag (10-15lbs) regularly for extended periods and distances.

The ability to spend long periods of time standing and / or walking on concrete and other surface.

The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, to include but not limited to; safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses / goggles / face shield, hearing protection, safety harness, ARC Flash suites, chemical and/or cut resistant gloves.
