Job Summary
IMKO Workforce Solutions is looking for dependable individuals to assist with event staffing and light security duties at events throughout Sioux Falls. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to pick up extra hours and work in a fun, fast-paced event environment.
Event Staff will help monitor entrances, assist guests as they enter the venue, walk throughout the event, and help ensure everything is running safely and smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Stand at designated entrances and help monitor guests entering the event
- Assist with front entrance operations and provide directions or general information to attendees
- Monitor designated areas inside the venue
- Walk throughout the event to ensure everything is running smoothly
- Remain alert and report any concerns or unusual activity to event management
- Help maintain organized entrances, exits, and event areas
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests
- Follow instructions from event supervisors and venue staff
- Remain at assigned posts as needed throughout the event
Qualifications
- Dependable and punctual
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Comfortable interacting with the public
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Able to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Previous event, customer service, or security experience is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements
Must be comfortable standing and walking for the majority of the shift and moving throughout the event venue as needed.
No heavy security work involved — this position is primarily focused on event monitoring, entrance assistance, guest support, and helping maintain a safe and organized environment.
Pay: $16 an hour
